Reflection 1

When I have the time I like to explore and travel- Iā€™m a movement oriented person.  Over time, though, I have realized I also like to cozy up in a place and stay a bit.  Sometimes we need the safe harbor of a destination to rest and regroup.  Other times we need the excitement of movement and change that a journey brings.  Life has an ebb and flow that keeps us balanced.  Sometimes, though, we get out of balance.  Stuck in the ebb with no flow or vice versa.  This is where the process of self-discovery comes into the picture.  By embracing curiosity, exploration, rest, and reflection we can move ourselves between times of rest and movement by building self awareness.

Now is the perfect time of year to slow down and reflect.  Explore and learn about yourself, understand your body and mind and how you move through your life.  This is the starting point to move toward better health and find healing.  Reflect where you are at with your health- whether you like the answer you find or not.  If you find you are not where you want to be, be patient with yourself, give yourself some extra love, and find a health professional who will empower you to get where you want to be.

Simple questions to consider:

Are you moving, engaging, and finding growth?  Or are you at a resting point and does this rest feel beneficial or stagnant and full of obstacles to change?  Are you where you want to be or are you looking to renew your energy and revitalize your motivation?  What do you need now to function and thrive?
